What Auto Paint Correction Actually Is
Paint correction is a multi-stage machine polishing process that physically removes a microscopic layer of clear coat to eliminate defects — swirl marks, fine scratches, water spot etching, and oxidation. Unlike a detail spray or wax, which fill and temporarily hide defects, correction removes them entirely.
Done right, the result is a finish that reflects like glass and looks better than the day the car left the showroom. Done wrong — with the wrong pads, compounds, or technique — it burns through clear coat permanently. We use professional dual-action and rotary polishers with compound and pad combinations calibrated to each paint type and condition.
